HoS, Sepulchre, Raven's HM (Forgot about the later two listed). No real problems going though them with the normal skillset. A wipe or two from the maelstroms because I was a little lazy to flag heroes before attacking.
HoS times for Levels 1-3 were 8/3/9.
Sepulchre times for Levels 1-2 were 18/5.
Raven's times for Levels 1-3 were 12/15/4.
Arachni's tomorrow.

Arachni HM. Longer dungeon than I remembered.
Took out GftE for EoE. On necro, took out Well of Ruin in place Rigot Mortis (used vs Arachni). Times for Level 1-2 were 39/22.

Well, ended up re-doing Thommis, Rand and Selves for the heck of it. Came out with a quicker time of 13/21/31.
I find the team setup pretty solid, with the pets able to absorb much damage and agro. If I didn't have to spend the time seting up and resetting the spirits (favwinds and frozsoil) the time's would be quicker. I find clearing dungeons pretty fun and non-stressful in most cases (with forgewight and kathadrax maybe being the exception). I've been playing with a 4-ele and 4-mes setup as well but I find the 4-ranger one more stable in terms of damage output and resilience. Only issue I had to look out for is the positioning of the rangers as they sometimes try shooting through walls forcing me to reflag them in the middle of combat.

Do you still use Dust Trap on your heroes?
I'm still working on getting this team build together (getting the last few ranger heroes).

I stopped using the initial traps setup for the most part and stayed with the later pet setup.
The pets used on heroes are just the black moa you can get outside in ferndale, or whatever that zone was called in factions. i wanted to cap the easiest level 20 pet at the time since my heroes did not have one. My own pet (crane) is hearty, I believe.

If you have an evolved pet and you submit it into the menagerie, you can speak to Wynn (I think that's his name) and he can summon any evolution of that pet for you to cap. I've been using dire black moas on my heroes (trying with Paragons until I get the ranger heroes).

I decided to redo Kathandrax with the pets while rushing it a bit. Ended up with a slightly better time of 16/15/14.
Pets are a bit problematic at times with agroing multiple groups if you don't use the "heel" command when enemy groups are close together.

you can submit your hearty crane to the menagerie and then summon a level 20 dire crane as many times as you want for you and all your heroes if you want

For pets on this build, I think hearty is probably the best choice for me since I prefer them to absorb agro. Though I just realized, the other night, that the moas are not hearty as they have less life than my crane.

the moas are unevolved, however you can go to the menagerie and charm a bunch of hearty cranes for your party

Mob AI apparently favours attacking low HP over high HP so pets who are supposed to 'grab' aggro would probably better be dire.
Not that it helps much - mob AI seems to avoid pets whatever their HP.

They tend to body block, though. If you add minions, it could be a useful wall. Haven't run with more than one pet though.

They probably ignore the pets because they have a higher armor rating (don't they have around 80?) compared to most casters in a party. I tend to rely on them body blocking, thus being forced to take the agro. I'm sure PETA would be knocking at my door if they played gw. LOL

Re-did Vloxen HM today with pet-setup (today's ZB) and ended up with times of 6/23/7 compared to the 8/29/8 I first got with the traps. Didn't bring frozsoil this run so I had to deal with a few rezzed enemies at times.
Good thing about a barrage ranger-group setup is you get a good and fast aoe spike whenever you call a target. Makes for killing enemy healers, MMs or bosses quite easy.

Wenspire: That's pretty impressive you can use only Heros for HM Slaver's. I haven't played in a long while, so maybe it isn't too impressive nowadays, but I digress. I'm making a last push for GWAMM and a full HoM and I was wondering if you could link the template codes for all those builds? I don't know many skills just by icons (much less small ones), and it'd be a great help if you could . Thanks in advanced.

For the Rangers, make sure your runes net you 13 in expertise.
Ranger 3, FavWinds on manual use.
Prot Monk on GUARD, Extinguish on manual use.
Heal Monk on AVOID, Rez on manual use.
You only need minor tweaking of skills for certain areas (FrozenSoil when doing Slavers being one). For doing areas with a lot of AoE damage (Kathandrax, Forgewight, etc), I usually substitute a SoulTwist-Prot Rit in place of the P Monk.

hehehe, i've used this one for multiple vanqs/dungeons and it works great. The 3 copies of splinter means all 4 barrager have constantly splinter on them. minions, pets and spirits soaks up dmg, as you've pointed out + this one has SY! on the player which can be useful.
Test it!

Don't joke about that. They've complained about the treatment of animals in other games before. They'll do anything for attention.
Also, thanks again for this thread. Would Paragons be a viable alternative to the rangers? Or are they only good as the spear beastmasters?
